HDBH Militia carries out an action against police patrolling in Sur

The HDBH Militia announced that they had carried out an action against the police patrolling in the borough of Sur in Amed on 21 April.

An action was carried out by the HBDH Shervan Dicle Militia against the police patrolling the borough of Sur in Amed. In a written statement, the HDBH said that one of the two police officers targeted was injured, while the situation of the other policeman could not be clarified.

The statement of the People's United Revolutionary Movement (HDBH) regarding the action is as follows: “On 21 April 2022, we carried out an action with two hand grenades against the police officers who were patrolling in the borough of Sur in Amed.

While it was determined that one of the two policemen we targeted was injured, the situation of the other policeman could not be clarified. Our militia left the field of action safely.

We declare that we stand by the guerrillas with our action against the invasion attack launched on South Kurdistan on 17 April. The Turkish government should know that we are spreading the war everywhere. The fire of every bomb that falls on the revolutionary battlefields will be a fire in Istanbul, Amed, Izmir, Çukurova and the strongholds of fascism.

Our call is to the working classes of Turkey, to the revolutionary and left socialist forces in Turkey. Our call is to the Kurdish people and youth that filled the Newroz squares. Now is the time for mobilization. While the AKP-MHP fascism wants to destroy the Kurds with this all-out attack, it will also condemn the Turkish workers to starvation and consolidate its power. Let's unite in the resistance against fascism. For the freedom of the peoples, the liberation of the workers, let's shatter the "Lock of Claw" operation launched by the Turkish army with the sledgehammer of the revolution.

In the person of Martyr Şervan Dicle, we salute the freedom fighters who became immortal by displaying an epic resistance against the invasion attacks.”
