HDK (Peoples' Democratic Congress) Co-Spokesperson Sebahat Tuncel had a traffic accident on her way back from the Kürecik Fest in Akçadağ district of Malatya.

HDK Co-Spokesperson's father Fahrettin Tuncel and cousin Baran Tuncel were also in the car which was being driven by her cousin when the accident happened on Malatya-Sivas road.

Tuncel's car run into another car driven on the opposite direction.

Tuncel, her father and cousin were all injured in the accident after which they were taken to Malatya State Hospital for urgent treatment.

Tuncel who suffered a fracture in the right arm was discharged from hospital together with her father, while her cousin is still being held under treatment at hospital, reportedly not in a life-threatening situation.
