The delegation, which took the road from Ankara last night, includes Peace Mothers activists, family of Ethem Sarısülük who was killed by police during Gezi protests in Ankara, as well as members of Halkevleri, TKP (Communist Party of Turkey) and Ethem Sarısülük Initiative.

The delegation has left for the village of Hêzan where they will visit Medeni Yıldırım's family after a visit to his grave.

Ethem Sarısülük's family had also joined the funeral ceremony of Ali ismail Korkmaz who was also killed by police during Gezi protests in Eskişehir. 19-year-old university student Korkmaz died on 10 July at Osmangazi University Hospital where he has been receiving treatment since 2 June.
Korkmaz had a brain hemorrhage after he was assaulted by unidentified persons, allegedly including plainclothes policemen, while escaping from the tear gas attack of police. The protest in Eskişehir in solidarity with Gezi Park resistance was joined by thousands of people who marched to the AKP building in the city to protest the police violence against Gezi protestors in Istanbul.
Before the boy was taken to his hometown Hatay for burial, police brutally attacked people who gathered in the city Wednesday evening to protest the unlawful police violence which claimed the life of five people during Gezi Park protests across the country.
Clashes between police and demonstrators continued last night as well, as police once again attacked the people who gathered in the neighborhood of Armutlu yesterday. Riot police attack against demonstrators was backed up by gendarme units. Many people were wounded in last night's clashes, with one among them reportedly facing a critical situation.
Among those wounded are also one soldier and two police officers.
