Sakık said in his posts: “Weird things happen in Muş. Although the counts of millions of voters have ended, there is still no result. There are a lot of cancellations. The result is still not clear. We are waiting.”

The HDP candidate added: “There are 2500 canceled votes. Our people know that we will expose all irregularities against the blockade and we will win.”

Again, Sakık said that  “with 94 percent of the votes counted, the AKP has 33.23 percent with 15,071 votes and the HDP has 31.81 percent with 14,427. Our vote will not be stolen.”

In the 1 June 2014 local elections, Sakık was elected for the BDP beating the AKP candidate Hasan Arslan.
