HDP Co-chair Buldan casts her vote in Istanbul

Buldan has cast her vote in Istanbul and will leave for Diyarbakır where she will be following the results of elections.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-chair Pervin Buldan has cast her vote at a school in Istanbul’s Yeşilköy district for today’s local elections.

Buldan said; “I hope the elections will be for the good of the peoples of Turkey. I hope our votes will contribute to peace, freedoms and equality."

HDP Co-chair added; “We have completed a very intense electoral work period. We have done everything we could. We told many things for the future of Turkey. The fact that none of the TV stations has covered our work, and the obstructions we have faced might have prevented our meeting with the voters but we have worked a lot and talked to the people to frustrate the attempts to defame the HDP, the lies told about us and the perception created against us. We have done our part and I trust that our people will do the same at the polls today. I have cast my vote and I will travel to Diyarbakır now as it will be a great joy to watch the leave of the trustees from Diyarbakır. We thank all of you once again.”
