HDP co-chairs and six deputies summoned to testify in Van
Van Public Prosecutor's Office has summoned the co-chairs and 6 deputies of the HDP to give their statements.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, Istanbul MP Pervin Buldan, Van MPs Lezgin Botan, Adem Geveri, Bedia Özgökçe Ertan, Tuğba Hezer Öztürk and Nadir Yıldırım have been summoned to give their statements at Van Public Prosecutor's Office.
The co-chairs and deputies of the HDP are accused of “spreading terror propaganda” and “insulting the President” in their speeches during events in Van province.
