HDP delegation to have talks in Brussels and Berlin
A delegation from HDP headed by co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will have talks in Brussels and Berlin as part of diplomatic activities.
A delegation from HDP headed by co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will have official talks in Brussels on September 27-28 and in Berlin on September 29.
The delegation will be made up of HDP Deputy co-chair in charge of Foreign Relations and Bingöl MP Hişyar Özsoy, Adana MP Meral Danış Beştaş and Mardin MP Mithat Sancar.
The HDP delegation will meet with President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, High Representative of the European Union Federica Mogherini and EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn in Brussels.
In Berlin, the delegation will have talks with Social Democratic Party (SPD) Chairman and Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as well as leaders of German Left Party (Die Linke) and Greens (Die Grünen).
On the other hand, HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ, Women's Assembly Spokesperson Besime Konca and Party Spokesman Ayhan Bilgen will meet with Nils Muižnieks,Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights at 17:30 tomorrow.
