Co-chair of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Mithat Sancar and HDP Vice Co-chair Responsible for Foreign Relations Commission Feleknas Uca paid a visit to Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba, Ambassador of South Africa to Turkey.

Paying tribute to Desmond Tutu, who eliminated the racist Apartheid regime together with Nelson Mandela, the historic leader of South Africa, and who was the head of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the HDP delegation extended their condolences to the South African Embassy.

Desmond Tutu, an iconic figure of the struggle against the Apartheid regime, who had friendly relations with Kurdish people, passed away at the age of 90 on 26 December 2021.
