As attacks on HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) continue across Turkey, the party's election office in Doğukent neighborhood of Elazığ has also been targeted late last night.

The HDP flags hanged outside the election office were torn down and burnt by assailants who also tried but failed to break the door of the office to get inside.

HDP executives who learned about the attack after coming to the office early in the morning, said they would file a complaint to Elazığ chief public prosecutor's office on the incident.

The executives of the party stressed that their election office has been targeted in line with the increasingly ongoing attacks against the offices of the party, all of which remain unsolved and unpunished in the pre-election process across the country.
