HDP Kağıthane district executive, Seyfi Çelik, was sued for his participation in the hunger strike led by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Ocalan. 

Çelik was not notified of the first hearing of the case against him and did not attend it. Because of that he was called by police teams at Eyup Police Station and as soon as he entered he was detained. Çelik is expected to be brought to court on Friday.
