HDP co-mayors of Patnos, Müşerref Geçer and Emrah Kılıç, and the Human Resources executive of the municipality, Uğur Laçin, were taken into custody.

Geçer was detained in the city center of Patnos (Pano), and Kılıç in Istanbul.

The co-chairs, the grounds for whose detention could not be learned, were taken to the District Police Department.
