HDP’s Aysel Tuğluk receives 18-month prison sentence
HDP Deputy Co-chair Aysel Tuğluk who has been under arrest in the Kandıra Type F Prison has received an 18-month prison sentence.
The hearing for HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) Deputy Co-chair Aysel Tuğluk held under arrest in the Kandıra Type F Prison was held in the Kandıra Court of General Sessions.
Aysel Tuğluk and her lawyer Nuri Tan were present in the hearing. Aysel Tuğluk, on trial for participation in demonstrations in front of the Kandıra Type F Prison, stated that she repeats her previous defense and demanded an acquittal.
After the defenses, the court issued Tuğluk a 1 year 6 month prison sentence.
