The 6th hearing on the case against former Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Sirnak MP Aycan Irmez was held in Sirnak Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction.

Irmez, on trial for “inciting hatred and animosity among the people” for statements she gave during the self-governance resistances in Silopi, was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Irmez’s lawyer was present in the hearing, and announced that they will appeal.
