HDP Vice Co-chair Aysel Tuğluk is one of the 9 politicians detained on December 26 and arrested yesterday in the inquiry against the Democratic Society Congress ( DTK) run by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s office. Tuğluk has been transferred to Kandıra F Type Closed Prison in the western province of Kocaeli.

Arrested in the same casefile, DBP Deputy Co-chair and Peace Group member Seydi Fırat, Ramazan Özbek, Halis Bilen, Mehmet Baysal, HDP Diyarbakır Province Co-chair Cabbar Leygara, former DTK Presidencial Council members Cafer Kan, Edip Yaşar and Abdulbaki Karadeniz are held in Diyarbakır Type D Closed Prison.
