Health Centre raided, Rojava citizens removed by police

Turkish police have raided a municipal health centre in Amed (Diyarbakır) and taken away by force 49 wounded Rojava citizens and left them at various hospitals in the city.

At 4 this morning plain clothes and riot police raided the Kardelen Mother-Child health centre affiliated to the Metropolitan municipality and Bağlar municipality in the city of Amed, where tensions are running high over continuing attacks on Kobanê.

The police entered the building, making employees lie on the floor before stepping on them, then kicking down the doors and forcibly putting 49 wounded Rojava citizens in ambulances and taking them to various hospitals in the city. The reason for the raid is not known.
