Demonstrations were held in Heilborn, Saarbrücken, Marburg and Freiburg to mark World Kobanê Day.

HEILBORN

A march was organised in Heilborn by German youth and Kurds living in the German city.

SAARBRÜCKEN

A protest was held in Saarbrücken promoted by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ).

Hundreds of people attended the demonstration which started with a minute silence. Katrin Ibrahim on behalf of TCŞ drew attention to the leading spirit of youth. She said that young people should stand up for Rojava.

The demonstration ended with the concert by Nuarin and Hozan Pehlivan.

MARBURG

A march was held in Marburg to mark 1 November, World Kobanê Day. Kurds and their friends gathered in front of the main station and marched up to the front of the city theater.

FRIEBURG

An action was organized in Freiburg promoted by German women's organizations and Nuda Women's Council to celebrate World Kobanê Day and to protest the occupation of Rojava carried out by the Turkish state.

Approximately five hundred people gathered in Alte Synagoge square and marched to the city center.

Speeches at the rally underlined the historic victory of Following the march, a rally was held in the city center. The speeches greeted the historic victory against ISIS mercenaries in Kobanê.
