Hundreds from Shehba migrate to Efrîn due to Turkish bombardments

1,351 people from Shehba region have migrated to the Efrîn Canton of Rojava, West Kurdistan during the weekend due to the ongoing attacks of occupant Turkish military forces.

According to local sources in Shehba region, Turkish army and affiliated gang groups bombed Qol El-Sirûc and Tili Midyeq villages in Shehba region with heavy weapons during the weekend.

On the other hand, Turkish aircraft shelled Til Rehal town of Bab.

Efrîn Canton officials stated that the wave of migration towards Efrîn Canton was growing. Accordingly, 1,351 people from Shehba have migrated to the Efrîn Canton during the weekend.

Efrîn Canton Social Affairs Council's Bureau for Immigrants member Mihemed Hecî called for international support for the immigrants sheltered in Rubar and Shehba camps.

The wave of migration towards Efrîn Canton from various parts of Syria continues increasingly since May 25, 2016.
