Hundreds of people, including BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) members, are waiting in front of Yenibosna Forensic Medicine Institute to take the body of Mensur Güzel (27) who was killed in the operation carried out on the hijacked ferry Kartepe yesterday morning.

Güzel’s family and relatives left Diyarbakýr last night and went to Istanbul where their lawyers appealed to the Prosecution Office to identify and get Güzel’s body.

Hundreds of people, including BDP Istanbul MP Sebahat Tuncel and BDP Istanbul Provincial Chair Asiye Kolçak, are still waiting in front of the Medicine Institute. Güzel, who was killed in an execution-style manner by Special Forces, will be buried in his hometown Diyarbakýr.
