Hunger striker HDP Amed MP Dersim Dağ voted
HDP Amed MP Dersim Dağ who has been on hunger strike demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Öcalan has voted.
HDP Amed MP Dersim Dağ has been on hunger strike demanding the end of isolation against Öcalan since 3 March at the party’s building.
After casting her vote, Dağ joined Amed municipality co-mayor candidate Hülya Alökmen Uyanık, Kayapınar council co-mayor candidates Kezban Yılmaz and Necati Pirinççioğlu and party members.
Dağ said: “I hope it will contribute to the achievement of peace and brotherhood” and voted.
