While the detainees of KCK (Democratic Confederation of Kurdistan) operations carried out last year are still in prison for over a year, the inquiry concerning the operations has been completed.

KCK operation was started on 14 April 2009 and resulted in the arrests of hundreds of people, including executives and mayors of the DTP (Democratic Society Party) which has been banned on 11 December 2009 by the Constitutional Court.
