Kurds living in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden gathered in front of the US Embassy on the call of Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (KJK-E) to protest the February 15 international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan at its 18th anniversary.
Demonstrators demanded freedom for the Kurdish leader and chanted “Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan” as they left a black wreath in front of the Embassy, after which they continued their protest in front of the Turkish Embassy.
Protestors held speeches condemning the Turkish state's genocidal attacks against the Kurds and the aggravated isolation impsoed on Öcalan.
