The Iranian army bombed the Sidekan district on the South Kurdistan border for 11 hours yesterday.
According to information from local sources, the Iranian army bombed the villages of Sidekan, Bêrkim, Lolan, Xinêre, Seroke and Nisîn from 6 o’clock yesterday morning. The bombing went on until 5pm, forcing the people in the region to flee their homes and take shelter in refuges.
The Piþder and Sidekan regions have been under heavy bombing for the last one week. Berkim, Mergemir, Bin Qulat and Sinine regions had also been bombed in the afternoon of May 16th.
As a result of the bombing on the villages of Rezger, Mereduve and Þinave on May 15th, a 53 year-old woman from Meredu was heavily injured.
