Iranian government hits out at cultural centres

After the pressures on cultural and artistic centres, the Iranian regime has forbid them to carry on their activities.

The Fakhre Razi cultural centre in the city of Shino has been closed. Same fate for the Centre for the Study of the Kurdish Language in the city of Ilam, shut dovn by security forces.

According to local sources in the last few days the cultural centre Fakhre Razi has been closed and had to stop teaching Kurdish.

The reason given fro the closure is that they don't have a licence to work. But the centre deny the accusation saying it was linked to another centre, the Soma Centre, a legal organization with many offices in various cities, Mehabad, Bokan, Serdesht, Bane, Piranshar, Seqiz, Qurwe.

The formation centre Fakhre Razi has been active for a year and a half in the city of Shino.

After just a week of activity, the Centre for the Study of the Kurdish Language has been shut down. And this despite the fact it had a licence released by the Cultural Department.
