Iranian regime closes Perwezxan border gate

Iran closed Perwezxan gate on its border with Southern Kurdistan on Sunday.

Tahran completely closed Perwezxan border gate near Qasri-Shirin on the border with Southern Kurdistan on Sunday.

Kurdish customs official Ali Tevfik said that Iran completely closed the border gate without notice. No Iranian officials were available to comment on the closure.

Iran, Turkey and Iraq started a blockade against Southern Kurdish administration after the region voted for independence on September 25.

Iraq banned all international flights to the region while Turkey said its planning to stop trade with Southern Kurdistan.
