Iraqi Parliament goes into action in the face of the increasingly ongoing attacks by the Turkish state in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).
The Security and Defence Committee of the Iraqi Parliament has established a commission to investigate the attacks of the Turkish occupation forces in South Kurdistan.
Hussein Al-Amiri, a member of the Security and Defence Committee, stated that “the parliamentary committee discussed in detail the continuous attacks of Turkish forces on border towns, villages and cities within Iraqi territory, which have resulted in loss of life and property.”
“The committee has set up a research commission. This commission will soon visit the areas which have been attacked by the Turkish forces and then prepare a detailed report to be submitted to the Parliament,” Al-Amiri added.
