ISIS mercenaries fired 4 mortars at the village of Daray Heftexari in Daquq (Kirkuk province). One of the mortars hit a house and as a result a woman and three men were wounded.

According to information from Daquq Hospital sources, ISIS mercenaries attacked the village of Darayi Heftexari and during the mortar attack a family of 9 people from the village got on their vehicle trying to reach Daquq.

When the family's vehicle approached the checkpoint near the Iraqi federal police near Daquq, the police stopped the vehicle and after the control shot a volley of fire at the vehicle allegedly killing the 9 family members, among whom were women and children.

Official authorities have not yet made a statement on the slaughter.

The wounded and dead were taken to Daquq Hospital.

Later the Iraqi federal police and the district security policemen enaged in clashes and a policeman is said to have lost his life.
