ISIS tunnel in Qadisiya neighborhood of Raqqa destroyed
SDF fighters have destroyed the tunnel the gangs used for attacks in the Qadisiya neighborhood of Raqqa.
SDF forces continue their advance in Raqqa. In the Qadisiya neighborhood, SDF fighters and ISIS gangs are engaged in intense clashes. The fighters have destroyed a tunnel that belonged to the gangs in the neighborhood.
The gangs attacked the SDF positions from this tunnel that connects two neighborhoods together. After the fighters repelled the attacks, they destroyed the tunnel as well.
The tunnel was 2m wide and 3m deep, and was reinforced with planks.
ISIS gangs have dug dozens of tunnels in Raqqa, and they use them to attack the neighborhoods liberated by the SDF fighters.
