Çiçek Otlu, imprisoned leader of the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP), has started a 15-day hunger strike against isolation. Otlu is jailed in Sincan Women’s Closed Prison.

According to Etkin News Agency (ETHA), the ESP leader and other ESP prisoners have joined the hunger strike campaign in solidarity with HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven. The Kurdish politician is on an indefinite hunger strike for 116 days demanding an end to the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
