Jarablus Military Council stressed that Turkey is targeting not ISIS but the Jarablus Council forces, and warned the Turkish army.
Jarablus Military Council released a statement about Turkey's occupation of Jarablus.
Mentioning the Turkish army attack on Til-Emarne village, the statement said; “Turkish jets have this morning bombarded our positions in southern Jarablus and the Til-Emarne village which houses civilians. With this aggression, a new conflict period will begin in the region. This aggression will not restrain us from our goal, which is to struggle against ISIS gangs and terror. Turkish army and affiliated groups will give account of working to obstruct the true struggle given against terror.”
The statement by Jarablus Military Council continued; “Turkey has been attacking our forces that are fighting against ISIS groups. We are warning the Turkish army; we can defend ourselves; international public opinion and coalition forces consider our retaliation against these attacks appropriate. This aggression of the Turkish state in parallel with the situation north of Aleppo, is a huge mistake. We have yet not approached the regional boundaries to avoid a clash with Turkish military. The border area will remain secure unless an attempt is made against our forces."
