Jaysh al-Thuwar stated that the Syrian regime handed over al-Bab to Turkish forces, and denied the claims that it handed over some towns in north of Aleppo to the Syrian regime.
Jaysh al-Thuwar (The Army of Revolutionaries) issued a written statement on the recent developments in al-Bab and northern Aleppo.
Active in the Shehba region, Jaysh al-Thuwar refuted the claims that it handed over some towns in north Aleppo to the Syrian regime and Turkish-backed gang groups. The group noted that other forces cannot be imposed to abide by the agreement that the Syrian regime signed with certain gang groups.
In its statement, Jaysh al-Thuwar said “The claims that we have handed over several villages and towns in north of Aleppo such as Til Rifet are false. Currently, the only truth is that the Syrian regime has handed over al-Bab to Turkish soldiers and affiliated gang groups.
We know that Syrian soldiers have not fired a single bullet on Turkish forces and affiliated gangs. We promise our people that we will continue our struggle until Shehba region is cleared of gang groups and occupant forces. We will protect the labour and efforts of our martyrs.”
