Five of the 15 people from Afrin, who were detained during the political operations carried out in 6 provinces based in Osmaniye, were sent to prison accused of being "members of a terrorist organization".
As part of the investigation conducted by the Osmaniye Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 15 people from Afrin were detained in Osmaniye, Hatay, Mersin, Kilis, Amed and Antep.
10 people from Afrin were released after being questioned by the prosecutor's office and handed over to Osmaniye Removal Center for deportation.
A.F., A.D., B.B., S.M.S. and A.M. however, were referred by the prosecutor's office to Osmaniye Criminal Judgeship of Peace on Duty with a request to be arrested on the charge of being "members of a terrorist organization". The judge sent the 5 Afrin citizens to prison.
