Democratic Alevi Federation (FEDA) co-chair Huriye Kabayel said that everyone should be in Cologne today demanding the physical freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Huriye Kabayel said: "The Kurdish people, in the person of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, were isolated and everyone who opposed the government was thrown into prisons or massacred. We must say 'stop' to all this. We must stand against injustice and strengthen our freedom."

Emphasizing that "Imrali isolation system has turned into systematic torture", Huriye Kabayel said: "The fact that the leader’s family, lawyers and Kurdish people have not received any news for the last 3 years and the silence of international institutions is unacceptable."
