The KCDK-E said that capitalism's greed for profit caused the death of 41 workers in Bartin and added that the AKP-MHP government was responsible for the massacre.
The KCDK-E issued a written statement after the deaths of 41 workers in Amasra (Bartin), protesting the AKP-MHP fascist regime.
The KCDK-E said the following in its statement: "According to official statements, 41 workers lost their lives in the explosion in a coal mine in the Amasra district of Bartin on the night of 14 October. 41 miners were killed because of the AKP-MHP fascist government's policies that do not protect the workers.
Just like the massacre of the miners in Soma, this massacre will go down in history as a murder. Although it was pointed out that the risk of explosion increased, the danger was ignored and the ground for this massacre was actually prepared.
Despite the decrease in the workforce, the Amasra Hard Coal Enterprise, which lacks infrastructure and has no precautions against explosion and fire hazards, has deliberately sent workers to their deaths by the hand of the state.
The Amasra massacre showed once again that the AKP-MHP fascist government ignores the dangers and turns a blind eye to massacres.
The AKP-MHP fascist government, which shed crocodile tears after the massacre, is responsible for the death of 41 mine workers!”
