KCDK-E calls for participation in worldwide demos for Öcalan

The European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E) called on the Kurdish people to participate actively in the "Freedom for Öcalan" demonstrations that will take place all around Europe and the world between the 12th and 19th August.

The Co-presidency council of the European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E) issued a written statement regarding the ‘Campaign for the Freedom of Öcalan’.

The statement said that the demonstrations for this week will be led by the Free Youth Movement Ciwanên Azad and the Free Women's Youth Movement Jinên Ciwanên Azad.

The statement pointed out that the Kurdish Freedom Struggle under the lead of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan has become the beacon of hope and the source of the liberation of all peoples in the Middle East, continuing:

"This struggle has reached the stage of tangible practice with the paradigm of the Democratic Nation. Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan has become more than the hope of the Kurds only, in fact the hope of all progressive humanity around the globe. If the Kurds have gotten to the level of determining the policy in the Middle East today, it is thanks to the paradigm and honourable struggle of Öcalan.

We will continue our activities with all our components and social centres until the "Campaign for the Freedom of Öcalan" leads to a concrete result.

This week between the 12th and the 19th August protest demonstrations organised by the youth will take place in Hamburg, Berlin, Hannover, Dortmund, Cologne, Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Nurnberg, Paris, Marseille, Strasbourg, Athens, Romany, Italy, Brussels, London, The Hague, Scandinavia, Japan, Australia and Canada.

We invite all our people and friends to take part in the "Freedom for Leader Apo" marches. Women, the youth, all our people and supporters of humanity should ensure participation to the highest degree."
