KCDK-E condemns Turkish air strikes on Maxmur

The KDCK-E called on everyone to support Maxmur in the spirit of national unity and to protest the attack and occupation targeting civilians.

The European Democratic Kurdish Society Congress (KCDK-E) Co-presidency Council released a written statement condemning the Turkish state's air strikes on Maxmur and called on Kurds to support the refugee camp.

KCDK-E recalled that the camp is under the supervision and control of the UN and condemned the silence of the international community.

"The silence of the UN and international institutions - said the statement - makes them partners in crime."

The statement added: "The silence about this new brutal attack that took place under the eyes and with the knowledge of the South Kurdistan administration is a shame."

The KCKD-E said that the attacks carried out by the Turkish state aim directly at civilians. "The attacks of the Turkish state are targeting civilians in front of the whole world and their aim is to force civilians to leave their areas and thus invade their territories."

The attack on Maxmur, added the statement, is a threat to all civilians. The KDCK-E called on everyone to support Maxmur in the spirit of national unity and to protest the attack and occupation targeting civilians.
