KCDK-E message on the Feast of Sacrifice

KCDK-E published a message of greetings on the occasion of the Feast of Sacrifice, wishing that this holiday will further strengthen solidarity and promote the concept of sharing.

The European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E) released a written statement on the Feast of Sacrifice, saying: "Unfortunately, this Feast of Sacrifice is taking place under the continued murderous policies of the AKP/MHP regime. The Turkish regime, with an ISIS mentality, is not allowing our people to celebrate their religious festivals in peace and tranquillity. The dictator Erdoğan is drowning Kurdistan and Turkey in tears and massacres. The attacks of his fascist government continue today, just like yesterday, all over Kurdistan - be it in Shengal, South Kurdistan or Rojava. People are attacked by methods that contradict all religious, moral and legal principles.

Despite these circumstances, the Kurdish people, with their dignified attitude, collective spirit and traditions, will continue to make the holiday a day of peace and solidarity. They will continue to strengthen the spirit of national unity and solidarity by visiting each other during the holiday, providing material and moral support for each other and standing up for the suffering people of Kurdistan. In the face of the threat of occupation of all parts of Kurdistan, it is now even more important that we stand by our national unity.

As KCDK-E, we wish that this holiday will bring freedom, equality, fraternity, democracy and justice to our people and to all the oppressed in the world. We wish a happy holiday to all humanity, especially the Kurdish people. Our wish is that this holiday strengthens solidarity and promotes the concept of sharing."
