Celebrating the anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, the KCDK-E said the revolution was the great turning point of the 21st century.
The KCDK-E emphasized that the status of Northern and Eastern Syria should be recognized in order for the Rojava revolution to survive and continue to be a hope for humanity, and said: "For the Rojava human revolution to survive, it must be surrounded by humanity as a circle, be recognized in the international arena and attain a status."
The KCDK-E said in a statement that the Rojava Revolution was “the great turning point of the 21st century, when the epic uprising of the Kobanê Resistance was crowned with the Rojava Freedom Revolution on 19 July 2012, and the women's revolt against medieval reaction was victorious.
The Rojava revolution was a women-led democratic-social revolution that radically affected the balance of the Middle East and sprouted the seeds of democratic unity and brotherhood among peoples. It is the revolution that unites all the peoples of the Middle East, Kurds, Arabs, Assyrian-Syriac, Turkmen, Armenian, around the democratic nation and against the reactionaries and unites them in the struggle.”
The statement continued: “This is the great revolution that the Kobanê resistance, for which thousands of men, women and old heroes became martyrs, won by paying the price with its epic rebellion that represents the will of humanity.
It is the human revolution in which internationalists and Turkish revolutionaries from all over the world gave their lives, paid the price, fell martyrs and were injured. It is the great Rojava Freedom Revolution, in which the barbaric ISIS gangs that plagued humanity were defeated and repelled by the will of women. It is the democratic nation revolution that has left behind the enthusiasm of many reactionary governments, such as the dictator Erdogan.”
The statement added: “In addition to the solidarity and support shown from all over the world, the official recognition and status of the autonomous administration established in Rojava is one of our struggles first. On the 100th Anniversary of the Treaty of Lausanne, in which the Genocide was formalized, the Rojava Revolution is of great importance for our national unity.
As KCDK-E, we greet this great human revolution as it enters its 11th year, and call on everyone to mobilize to continue working everywhere in Europe, Australia and Canada in order to achieve the recognition of the status of the Autonomous Administration. This year let's meet with the spirit of national unity in the person of the Rojava Revolution at the great march to be held in Lausanne on Saturday 22 July."
