Kiziltepe Municipality co-mayor Nilufer Elik Yilmaz and deputy co-mayor Dilber Sulhan were taken into custody while in their house this morning.

Yılmaz and Sulhan were taken into custody within the scope of an investigation initiated by Mardin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and were taken to Mardin Provincial Security Directorate.

In addition, the house of Kiziltepe Municipality co-mayor Zeyni Ipek was also raided by police, but Zeyni was not at home and could not be arrested.
