The Kobanê Canton of West Kurdistan, Rojava, where violent clashes erupted today after ISIS gangs infiltrated to neighborhoods in the eastern side of the town, is witnessing a heroic resistance and a stiff response to the ISIS attacks by the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defence Units) fighters.

The historic resistance in Kobanê is also witnessing firsts such as the PYD (Democratic Union Party) Co-pres,dent Asya Abdullah, Canton President Enver Müslüm and ministers taking place in the fighting against ISIS gangs at the battlefront.

Addressing to the international community from the battlefront, the Canton administration urged everyone to act without losing time in order to prevent a massacre of civilians, and called on the Kurdish people to rise up everywhere they are.
