Komalên Ciwan calls on youth in North Kurdistan to rise up
The Komalên Ciwan (Youth Organisation) Coordination has called on Kurdish youth to rise up and in the same way the ISIS gangs are being routed in Kobanê to make life uncomfortable for the AKP government in Kurdistan.
The Komalên Ciwan Coordination has issued a written statement condemning the Turkish state's support for the brutal ISIS gangs in Kobanê, and recalling that dozens of Kurdish patriots were murdered by the state in protests. The statement said people had been slaughtered in Batman, Mardin, Muş, Şırnak and only 2 days ago, in Suruç (Pirsus), when Kader Ortakaya was murdered.
The statement continued: “We state that we will not remain silent at the barbarity of the AKP that wishes to break the will of the Kurdish people, and step up the freedom struggle."
The Komalên Ciwan Coordination said the Turkish state was continuing the attacks it launched in the 1990s with JİTEM with ISIS, adding: “The protests of 6 October exposed the dirty face of the AKP government, and hundreds of young people have joined the resistance in Kobanê to defend Kurdistan lands."
The statement continued: “The bullet fired at Kader Ortakaya was fired at Kobanê and at all the Kurdish people. We call on all Kurdish youth to take ownership of Kobanê and rise up against the AKP government to commemorate Kader Ortakaya."
The statement concluded by calling on Kurdish youth to refuse to accept the dishonourable life imposed by the state, make North Kurdistan uncomfortable for the AKP government and halt their reactionary policies.
