KONGRA-GEL Co-Presidency issued a written statement on Manbij victory. The Co-Presidency stated that SDF forces won a heroic victory in Manbij and congratulated the people of North Syria Federation and all Middle Eastern peoples wanting freedom and democracy.

KONGRA-GEL commemorated Commander Faysal Abu Leyla and other Manbij martyrs and congratulated SDF forces for their strategic victory. The Co-Presidency emphasized that Manbij victory was an important step for clearing Syria off of ISIS gangs and establishing democratic Syria. KONGRA-GEL noted that with this victory, SDF forces once again showed that they were the most important force in the establishment of a democratic Syria, and underlined that the biggest obstacle on the way of the unification of Kobanê and Efrîn cantons has been removed.

KONGRA-GEL Co-Presidency reaffirmed its belief that SDF forces would soon unite Efrîn and Manbij in order to ensure the geographical unity of North Syria Federation, and called upon the people of Kurdistan everywhere to celebrate the historic victory against ISIS gangs.
