Kurdish activists march against international conspiracy in Greece

Young Kurdish activists in Greece have started a march to protest the international conspiracy which led to the imprisonment of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The Kurdish youth in Greece started a 3-day march promoted by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger, TCŞ) and Kurdistan Cultural Centre to condemn the international conspiracy against Kurdish leader Öcalan. Dozens of young people came together in the camp where Kurdish refugees remain in the city of Lavrio under the motto “Stop isolation, fascism and occupation! The activists displayed a banner reading "Down with the October 9 Conspiracy, freedom for Öcalan" as they started their march.

The young activists, including the internationalist Riseup Rojava group, displayed posters of Öcalan, PKK and KCK flags, sang anthems and distributed leaflets denouncing the genocidal attacks of the Turkish state in Kurdistan.

The first day of the march will be completed in the town of Marco Polo. On the second day, there will be a pause in the town of Peyaniya. On the 10th of October, the activists will march towards the Turkish Consulate in Academia Square with new participants in Athens.
