On Friday, a three-day long march was started in the German city of Hamburg.

LOWER SAXONY

Today, activists have started a three-day march in the Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) state, and they will cover 10 km from Langenhagen to Hannover.

The activists made a statement to the press before launching the march in front of the Langenhagen station and observed a minute’s silence in memory of all those who have lost their lives in the freedom struggle.

150 people then started to march with banners in German and flags of Rojava’s TEV-DEM (Democratic Society Movement).

The crowd is met with great interest as they march through the streets of the city. The first stage of the march will be concluded in Hannover today.

The second stage of the Lower Saxony march will kick off from the Leine Center in Laatzen at 11:00 Sunday morning and will continue till Hannover train station.

On the third day, the activists will march from Hannover train station to the state parliament where a rally will be held and a dossier will be submitted to the parliament.

BERLIN

The two-day march in capital Berlin in protest at the international conspiracy against Öcalan has kicked off from Kreuzberg-Kottbusser Tor today.

The march started after a minute of silence with the activists chanting 'Bijî Serok Apo' [Long Live Leader Öcalan].

The organisation committee called on the Kurds living in and around Berlin to join and support the demonstration.
