A group of Kurdish young demonstrators have occupied the European Union Office in Berlin at the anniversary of the capture of PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) Leader Abdullah Öcalan as a result of an international conspiracy on 15 February 1999.
While the protest act of the group continues in the office close to the Bundes Federal Parliamentary, police has taken intense security measures in the area.
The group, consisting of around 20 demonstrators, have opened banners and demanded freedom for Öcalan.
