People continued to join the rallies organised in support of the hunger strike resistance in front of the European Parliament. Next week new initiatives will take place.

The hunger strike carried out by 14 Kurdish activists from the Freedom for Öcalan Initiative, is being supported by Kurds and their friends all over Europe.

Among the visitors this week were Kurdish journalists working in Europe. Hunger striker and journalist Gülistan Ike and KCDK-E co-chair Yüksel Koç welcomed the journalists who said they had arrived in Strasbourg to monitor the situation of the activists.

Hunger strikers Ike and Koç underlined the importance of reaching the world public opinion and explain the reason of the hunger strike demanding the end of isolation.

The hunger strikers also received visitors from France, Germany and many other European countries. Due to their health condition, the activists can only meet with the visitors for a very short time.
