Kurdish Red Crescent calls for solidarity during Eid al-Adha

The Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê (Kurdish Red Crescent) has called for solidarity during the feast of sacrifice.

The Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê called for cooperation in a statement on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, saying the following:

“The meaning of the feast of sacrifice is cooperation and solidarity.

Despite all the pain and suffering, Happy Eid al-Adha to the people of Kurdistan and the Islamic world.

The Kurdish people have always welcomed the holidays with sadness due to the policies of war and injustice that have been implemented against them for years. The Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê has helped hundreds of thousands of families in need so far.

Eid al-Adha means sharing of the pain and sorrow of the poor and needy. It means brotherhood and the making children waiting for help happy.

We celebrate the Eid al-Adha of the people of Kurdistan and all Muslims in the hope that it will lead to peace and stability.”
