Kurdish women denounce AKP fascism in the Bavarian Parliament

Kurdish women attended a series of meetings in the Bavarian Parliament and denounced AKP fascism.

SARA Women’s Commune members attended a series of meetings in the Bavarian Regional Parliament in Munich, Germany. Kurdish women presented a file prepared by the Democratic Kurdish Society Center in Germany (NAV-DEM) to parliament officials.

Kurdish women met with representatives from the Parliament Presidency, CSU and the Greens, and informed the officials about the AKP government’s policies of political genocide. AKP government’s recent proposal condoning sexual exploitation was also discussed during the meetings, and women emphasized the importance of Germany’s imposition of sanctions on Turkey.

Another topic that was discussed during the meetings was the Turkish Intelligence Agency’s use of embassies in order to gather intelligence on the Kurdish politicians and activists that live in Germany.
