Kurdish women in Giessen donate masks to primary school

Kurdish women in Giessen have donated the protective masks they produced to a primary school.

As schools are slowly partially resuming their activities, there is an urgent need for protective masks for both teachers and students. In order to meet this need, the Berçem Women's Council organized the production of protective masks in the Democratic Kurdish Social Center in Giessen.

Ayşe Marangoz delivered the masks to the director of the Goethe School, Kerstin Muscheid.

“In this school there is a great need for masks, - said Muscheid - since it is mainly attended by children from socially disadvantaged families”. The director thanked the Kurdish Women's Council for the support. The delivery was carried out observing the social distancing rule.
