Kurdish youth staged a demonstration for Abdullah Öcalan on Sunday evening at the Marignane commune in the south of France.

The march organized by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ) took place in the city square and was joined by over 150 young people.

Activists carried posters and photos of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan as well as YPG and YPJ flags and chanted slogans in favor of Öcalan and against Erdogan. The youngsters walked up to the Municipality of Marignane, where one minute silence was held accompanied by Çerxa Şoreşê anthem.

In the speech on behalf of the youth, it was underlined the need for Öcalan to meet with his lawyers and family so to have news of his health after the fire in the island of Imrali.

All Kurdish youth in Europe were called to join actions for Öcalan.
