Kurdistan Cultural Association in Athens organizes event in village where Öcalan stayed

The Kurdistan Cultural Association in Athens organized an event in the village where Abdullah Öcalan stayed for a while in Greece.

The Kurdistan Cultural Association in Athens organized a series of events in the village of Neya Makri in Maratona, where Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan stayed for a while.

Eleni Vasilopolo, who visited Abdullah Öcalan while he was in that house, as well as Greek academics, members of various parties and civil society organizations attended the event.

A panel was held to discuss the impact of the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan on Kurdistan and the Middle East. The speakers drew attention to the fact that Abdullah Öcalan's freedom would bring peace to the peoples of the region, and saluted the guerrillas resisting the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state.

After the panel, a traditional dance group took the stage. Various activities related to Kurdish culture were also held.
